what to expect

Connection

Connection is so important and I believe it translates through photographs.

You spend your entire wedding day with your photographer, so it's incredibly important that we "click" and feel at ease with each other.  The more comfortable you are in my presence and in front of my camera, the more relaxed you will look in your photos.

Our initial consultation gives us the chance to really get to know each other and see if we are a good fit.  I want to get know you both, how you met, and what you love most about one and other.

Communication

From the moment we first connect, I will ask you many questions about your plans for the event.  Everything from your venue, wedding party and first dance will be discussed - no topic is off limits!  A major part of our discussion will revolve our your day of timeline and all the parts you hope to have captured.

Many years from now, when you open up your wedding album, I want to know

what you hope to see on those pages, the most important moments.  This will differ from couple to couple, so it's important that I establish your values with you ahead of your big day.

support

A lot happens on your wedding day.  It can be quite an emotional experience.   Just know that I am there for you!   A big part of my role (other than photographer) is being a sense of calm for you.  Energy is real and you will most likely encounter a ton of different energies from people on this day.  My goal is to keep you as relaxed and carefree as possible so that you can focus on what's important - you and your partner.
