2014 - Year in Review

2014 was an incredible year.  I overcame many personal boundaries and accomplished more than I could have ever imagined possible.  Photography was definitely at the forefront, more than it had ever been for me, and I loved every minute of it.  Every shoot, every wedding, every workshop... I lapped it all up.

I would like to thank each and every person who has supported my work this past year.  Your uplifting words and kindness have been instrumental to my success, and have driven me to push myself even harder.  I would also like to thank my friend and MUHA, Emily Phung, for her time, dedication and the truly beautiful work she has done for the clients of First Glance Studios.  I look forward to working alongside you in the future.

In closing, I leave a few of my favourites from this past year:

Jacob | Edmonton Lifestyle Photographer

Prepare to have your heart strings tugged...

Meet Jacob.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Jacob and his mum, Carolynne, this spring at Fort Edmonton Park.  The weather prior to the shoot was dicey at best.  I hadn't seen it pour rain like that in Edmonton in months.  Luckily, as soon as we got there, the clouds disappeared and the sun came out.

Jacob is the sweetest 5 year old boy that I know.  What I first noticed about Jacob (besides how utterly adorable he is) is that he is not afraid of the camera, and welcomes having his picture taken.  Needless to say, we captured some amazing portraits of him and I had a blast doing it.  Thank you, Carolynne, for trusting me to capture Jacob's playful spirit in photographs.
